# Items

Items are an essential component in the Battlemon universe. You can dress your lemon in several types of items, thus changing its overall characteristics.&#x20;

Each item has several identifiers.&#x20;

* **Agility** modifies the number of BP points you will get for a quest or game on-chain mechanics.&#x20;
* **Luck** - increases the probability of receiving a prize from the Dungeon campaign (commission from the mechanic, royalty) sticker item&#x20;
* **Speed** - when you get more speed points, this modifier will shorten your travel time through quests.

Initially, after minting items, you will receive a certain amount of characteristics that are inherent to your items. Each item can be upgraded ([**LVLUP**](https://battlemon.gitbook.io/lightpaper/gamefi-mechanics/nft-lvlup)) with the help of gems. To increase the level of the item, you need to combine it with a gem 1 level higher; the item's characteristics will increase randomly.&#x20;

For example, there are 7 points scattered in a few variations: 1/1/5, 4/2/1, or  3/2/2, And you can level up it. As you level up, one of the properties also increases by 1 point.

The more items you add to the lemon, the better your performance during the quests.&#x20;
